Birmingham Restaurant Week is back! With the great success of the inaugural Birmingham Restaurant Week in September 2010, we are thrilled to announce the dates and details for Birmingham Restaurant Week 2011… From August 19 to August 28, 2011, restaurants throughout the metro area will offer special prices for complete dinner, lunch and/or brunch menus to entice diners to revisit their favorite restaurants or sample new ones they’ve been meaning to try.

Scott Bourgeois- FLIP Burger Boutique

Scott Bourgeois’ culinary career has taken him from a degree at Culinard, through service as a sous chef at Birmingham landmarks like Michael’s Steaks and Seafood and Original Joe’s, followed by management of culinary operations for the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Center.  Since joining FLIP, Scott has been named Executive Chef for the Birmingham location where he works directly under Top Chef All Stars winner, Richard Blais.  Scott has turned his creative hand to designing menu items for FLIP that play off  classic Southern tastes with a modern fine-dining twist.  Read on »
